The First International Conference on Mining Geomechanical Risk, held 9-11 April 2019 in Perth, Western Australia, provides a forum for mining geomechanical practitioners and executives around the world to improve on assessing, quantifying, communicating and managing mining geomechanical risk to maximise shareholder value and advance mine safety.
The proceedings contains 36 peer-reviewed technical papers, with keynotes from Dr Bruce Brown, Dr German Flores-Gonzalez, Professor John Hadjigeorgiou, Dr John Lupo and Geoffrey Potgieter.
