The 14th International Seminar on Paste and Thickened Tailings returned to Perth in 2011. This seminar reflected the developing maturity of the technology of paste and thickened tailings management. Paste 2011 explored the considerations needed to raise the awareness of mining industry leaders of the importance that environmental stewardship related to their tailings facilities is to long-term industry sustainability.
