The ACG invites applications for the position of Professor of Industry Practice in Open Pit Mining Geomechanics.

The successful applicant will:

• Provide leadership in open pit mining geomechanics.
• Develop, promote and conduct applied research, as well as training and technology transfer to the Australian and international resources industries in the field of open pit mining geomechanics. 
• Have extensive relevant industry experience and is committed to mine safety, applied research, and technology transfer for the resources industry sector.
