Call for Research Assistance
PhD candidate Xingjie Chen is the recipient of the Odwyn Jones female MIRWA scholarship.
Research assistance is required for her project around the utilisation of mine waste in shotcrete for underground support. The project aims at building an AI model to find the most important and sensitive parameters in shotcrete mix design. It is hoped that mining and shotcrete companies can use the AI model to facilitate their new designs on shotcrete for underground support.
Applicants are invited to email Xingjie at xingjie.chen@research.uwa.edu.au
