Following on from the first edition released in 2002 and the second in 2006, the Australian Centre for Geomechanics released the third edition of Paste and Thickened Tailings – A Guide in 2015. The revised edition features the significant advances made in the field since 2006 and includes chapters on evolving technologies, such as filtering and post thickener polymer injection, as well as different thickening techniques. These guidelines are such a highly valued and relevant reference for all those working in the mining industry having responsibilities for paste, thickened and filtered tailings (P&TT). The guidelines have a broad authorship and reflect a range of worldwide expertise and experience.
