This live course covers the technical and practical aspects of ground support for underground metalliferous mines.
The social license to operate mines in many countries around the world dictates that safety records are maintained at a high standard. As a result, the mining industry has become increasingly intolerant to risk. Ground support remains the main means to mitigating rockfalls; one of the major risks in underground mines. As such, the latest developments and applications of ground support in mining and underground construction are of prime interest to practitioners.
The course is designed to assist mining personnel involved with the design and implementation of mine ground support. Mine managers, mining engineers, mine geologists, mining supervisors and operators, suppliers of mine support equipment, mining contractors and mines inspectors may benefit from attending the course.

This course will be run online, as well as in-person for those able to attend in Perth, Western Australia, in accordance with Covid-19 restrictions.

The course will be live from 8am – 12pm (AWST) only to accommodate online attendees from various time zones.
